Frequently Asked Questions.

What kind of projects does Safety Line accommodate to?

We stripe and restripe parking lots, roadways, highways, intersections, curbs, parking bumpers, fire lanes, crosswalks, warehouse floors, ADA compliance markings, sports courts (Ex. basketball, pickleball, tennis), helipads, stencils, and numbers.

This can include arrows, “do not park”, “stop”, accessible parking for those with disabilities, etc.

We can work with our customers to accommodate to customers for custom stencils/logos.

How often should a parking lot be re-striped?

Most lots need restriping every 1–2 years, depending on traffic volume, weather conditions, and overall wear. Faded or chipped lines reduce visibility and may lead to safety or compliance issues.

Can you stripe over existing lines?

Yes, we can re-stripe over existing lines. We can also blackout existing lines to accommodate to layout changes. For faded or cracked surfaces, we may recommend sealcoating and re-striping.

Can you operate during my business hours?

Yes, we can operate during your business hours. We offer flexible scheduling, including working on Saturdays (special cases we do Sundays). Although it’s typically easier and quicker to operate with lots fully closed off, we can section off parts of lots to allow traffic & parking to avoid interrupting your business operations.

Do you have a minimum job cost?

Safety Line has a minimum job cost of $250.00 to cover mobilization of equipment and crew, as well as material costs.

Do you offer custom layouts or designs?

Yes! We can help design or reconfigure your layout to maximize parking efficiency and improve traffic flow.

Is line striping weather-dependent?

Yes. Striping requires relatively dry conditions and temperatures for best results. Rain or extreme cold can affect paint adhesion and drying times. We can paint with temperatures around 35°F or above.

How long does the paint take to dry?

Oil-based paints will take 15 minutes to dry in optimal conditions. As a precaution, we recommend waiting 30 minutes before driving over oil-based lines.

Water-based paints will take about 30 minutes to dry in optimal conditions. As a precaution, we recommend to wait 45 minutes before driving over water-based lines.

What are your accepted payment types?

Safety Line currently accepts cash or check payments.
